First Saturday Night Showdown

Congratulations to Jason Wright for winning the inaugural Saturday Night Showdown. Jason Wright and Jack Honeycutt racked up on bonus points over the weekend. Both drivers collected 5 bonus points for winning a qualifier, and Jack collected an additional 5 bonus points for leading the most laps Saturday night. The race went green for nearly 40 laps at the beginning, then several cautions set the stage for a wild race to the checkered flag.

Jason Wright, Alex Garner, Chris Jeromin, Jack Honeycutt and Josh Hall also received 5 bonus points for leading a lap.

Here are the results for the B car at Talladega from week 2. Sorry I didn't get these up sooner. 5 bonus points were awarded to Jason Yott, Jim Orlando, Thomas Jowers Jr, Monty Noyes, Jack Honeycutt, and Steve Hansen for leading a lap. In addition, Jason Yott, Jack Honeycutt, and Jim Orlando received 5 bonus points for winning a qualifier race. Jim Orlando led the most laps in the race to record that 5 point bonus.
